Senior Consultant
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Senior Consultant is a cornerstone delivery and leadership role at Florida Consulting. You will manage project modules end-to-end, lead junior consulting teams, shape analytical frameworks, and serve as a trusted client-facing voice across engagements. You combine deep domain expertise with project management skills — translating complex problems into structured, actionable consulting outputs.
Beyond delivery, Senior Consultants are expected to contribute meaningfully to Florida’s business development pipeline, IP creation, and institutional knowledge base.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage multiple project modules simultaneously, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction
- Design and oversee research approaches, analytical frameworks, and data collection methodologies
- Develop flagship client outputs: strategy reports, master plans, investment frameworks, policy documents, and programme designs
- Serve as primary client contact for day-to-day engagement management — meetings, reviews, updates, and workshops
- Contribute to and review proposals, concept notes, RFP responses, and technical bids
- Guide, manage, and develop a team of Analysts, Associate Consultants, and Consultants within the project
- Proactively identify scope expansions, new business opportunities, and cross-vertical collaboration possibilities
- Lead the development of Florida’s proprietary IP — frameworks, sector toolkits, and knowledge assets
- Represent Florida externally in client presentations, industry events, and stakeholder forums
- Contribute to internal capability-building: training sessions, knowledge-sharing, mentoring juniors
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5–7 years of experience in management consulting, development consulting, government advisory, or equivalent
- Proven track record of independently delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects from scoping to final delivery
- Deep domain expertise in at least one of Florida’s vertical areas: sustainability, MSME, infrastructure, investment, digital/AI, or public policy
- Strong project management skills — ability to juggle multiple workstreams, manage teams, and meet deadlines
- Excellent client relationship skills — professional, confident, and empathetic in all interactions
- Demonstrated experience in business development: proposals, pitches, and client acquisition support
- Experience mentoring and developing junior consulting professionals
- Exceptional written and presentation skills — able to craft compelling, board-level deliverables
- Comfort with data-driven decision-making and quantitative analysis
- Strong alignment with Florida’s values: integrity, innovation, inclusivity, and accountability
