Analyst
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Analyst is Florida Consulting’s entry-level consulting role, designed for fresh graduates who are intellectually curious, research-driven, and eager to build a career in development consulting. As an Analyst, you will support project teams across one or more of Florida’s six verticals – Green Futures, Business Capital Advisory, Infrastructure Horizons, MSME Catalyst, AI & DigiTech, and Public Policy & Reforms contributing directly to real client engagements from Day 1.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct primary and secondary research to support project deliverables across verticals
- Assist in data collection, data cleaning, and structuring datasets for analysis
- Support preparation of reports, presentations, policy briefs, and client-facing documents
- Participate in field visits, stakeholder interactions, and survey-based research
- Contribute to knowledge management and internal documentation within the ARC (Knowledge & Insights) pod
- Assist in developing summaries, case studies, and background notes for client engagements
- Support Senior Consultants and Managers with day-to-day project tasks
- Comply with delivery timelines and uphold Florida’s quality standards in all outputs
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Genuine curiosity about development, policy, sustainability, or business strategy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Self-starter attitude with ability to take ownership of assigned tasks
- Prior internship experience in consulting, research, or policy will be an advantage
